EN 1600 :Application/properties:
This electrode is suitable for welding of stabilized austenitic stainless Cr-Ni-steels and cast steels, as well as for stainless or heat resistant non-scaling up to +800°C. Some of its properties are fine droplet metal transfer, good wash-in of joint sides, finely-rippled bead surface, easily removable slag, easy arc striking and restriking. Its weld metal has a ferrite number of 5 to 8 (according to the WRC chart) and is therefore suitable for preventing cracks in welding thick parts with multi-pass welds.
