EN 3581-AApplication/properties:
Basic electrode is used in structures up to 800̊C. It also has good creep, oxidation and corrosion resistance properties .The chemical analysis of the weld metal of this electrode according to the standard results in high resistance to thermal embrittlement and impact resistance at low temperatures, so it is used in the welding of refrigeration equipment. Using this electrode prevents the problems related to hot ductility and thermal fatigue in thick sections on alloy 304H, which previously occurred with the E308H electrode.
