Medium alloy welding wire is suitable for TIG welding of CrMo type pipe and boiler steels that are resistant to operating temperatures up to 550 degrees Celsius. Preheating and postheating operations are determined based on the base metal type.

T = Tempered at 720°C for 30 minutes and cooled in the furnace to 300°C
N+T = Normalized at 930°C for 30 minutes, then cooled in air, then placed at 720°C for 30 minutes, then cooled in a furnace to 300°C.
